Congratulations to Oculus Director Jenny Dallinger who has been nominated for the 2011 International Women’s Day Leadership Award.
The 2011 International Women’s Day Leadership Award aims to recognise, congratulate and celebrate the achievements of women, business and community leaders who are at the forefront of their field, for their exceptional skills, expertise, vision, leadership, mentorship and their commitment to the Gold Coast community.
Beginning her career with Oculus in 1986 as a trainee, Jenny ascended the ranks to become the firm’s first female Partner in 2001.
On her approach to leadership and mentoring Jenny notes that patience and tolerance are what sets her apart. “Everyone has a starting point. I believe training, mentoring and encouragement are important at all stages of employment. Your team needs to be given the opportunity to grow & learn”.
Jenny also remarks on her work with clients, “I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoy my work. The feeling you get when you have helped a client grow their business and improve their personal and family situation is immense, especially as I go on to help their next generation.”
Jenny’s dedication and expertise in crafting financial solutions for families and businesses has made her a highly sought after leader in her field.
